Hello Sara, I wanted to tell you that the book "Pax" is a piece of art. It is wonderful, and it actually changed my life. It is my favorite book ever and I'm very grateful that you wrote it. I also enjoyed the sequel a lot. I know that writing a good book is complicated but I need to know, is there any chance you will write the third book for Pax?

I just finished PAX. Thank you for the insight and love you put into this book. It was perfect for our whole family. My 9 yr old is reading the second book now. Though this might be a long shot, my mother mentioned to me that the Pennypackers and the Staunton's were related at one point. We now live in Foxboro, almost sounds too coincidental your book and our city and that we are related. But there you have it and if nothing happens from this post, the joy has been reading your books. Sincerely, Rick

Dear Ms. Pennypacker, Can you write more of the Clementine series. I wasn't ready for it to be over. The adventure is just not done for me. Also, could you write some books about more of the characters from Clementine and Waylon books. All the characters are very funny and interesting. I really like your books. Thank you. From, Luka

SARA, hi...I just finished PAX and loved it!!!! A great story, well written, thank you for it. I am a 75 year old woodcarver and you must know about woodcarving for it was obvious in your book when you talk about the WOOD being THE MASTER over, or at least with the carver! I use that whenever I have to speak about my carving, It is a collaboration, it is a dialogue that we have together, the wood and I. be well Sara, kindly yours, www.leoosborne.com

Hello Sara I purchased Pax because I just loved the cover illustrations. But then I read the book and I have to say your words far exceeded my love of the illustrations. I'm may be one of your oldest fans. But I have to say I believe your books are truly classics. My favorite is Leeva at Last. Thank you!!! Please write more!

To Sara Pennypacker Hello, I love your book Pax. I want to share some things I like about it. I like how engaging your book was. Pax got e so included and made me feel like I was there. I also love that you characterized everything in your book. It was so cool to read the book. I was on the edge of my seat every page, you built suspension and let it release which I think is very cool. I love the way that you introduced and developed characters throughout the story, it always kept me wondering what is going to happen next. I connected with the book because, from a very young age, I have always loved animals and felt a special connection with them. Even my grandparents, friends, and cousins have animals that I love to talk and connect with (even though they don't understand me) This is like Peter with Pax. Inseparable. I love this book because it has made me positive. The book's realism has made me feel like this is a real story. Because I thought that it was real, it made me think. When I realized they were very positive, I started to copy them. Since then I have been more positive in anything I do like assessments and just my day-to-day life. Thank you. Pax was great, thanks for the read.

Dear Ms Pennypacker, Thank you for writing the amazing novel Pax. I spent many nights at home snuggled up in bed reading your book. I enjoyed it immensely, it filled me with both happy and sad emotions, and always left me wanting to read more. The constant changing of perspectives between Peter and Pax made their friendship connection come to life and helped me understand the key themes of the book. It highlighted the importance of friendship, having compassion on others and how terrible the impact of war can be on people’s lives. One relationship I enjoyed was between Peter and Vola, and how Peter helped Vola process the trauma of war and become more connected to the people around her. This friendship in the story truly has the power to inspire change and shows the impact of having empathy. Your story has been a catalyst for a shift in my perspective. I've become more focused on the positives in my life rather than dwelling on the negatives. Additionally, I've gained insight into the destructive consequences of unchecked anger, as demonstrated by Peter's father, reinforcing the significance of taming the 'anger beast.'. Pax and Peter have helped me realise the incredible blessing of having a loving and caring family with both parents. Nevertheless, Peter's character shows that, even in less fortunate circumstances, one can still choose their own unique path where the “apple falls far from the tree”. Thank you for writing Pax, it has taught me the important values I want to have in my life. I am looking forward to reading the sequel “Pax, the journey home.” I can’t wait for the story to unfold. Yours Sincerely James Koch`

Dear Sara Pennypacker I really loved pax. It was really amazing to see how much emotion a single book can bring. I loved your choice of words and how you set the scene. It is actually really sweet how you set up a bond between animal and human and showed that true love and compassion will never set anybody apart. Now putting that all aside I would love to know what inspired you to write such an amazing book. I would also like to know why you pursue a career of writing childrens and young adult books? I would also love to know why you chose the names of the main characters and why a fox out of all the animals in the world why a fox? What was the significance of the animal to you? From a new fan Liam Age 12
