We just finished reading the first three Clementine books as our class read alouds. We loved meeting Clementine and enjoyed all of her adventures! We're looking forward to adding the 4th book to our summer reading list. We're curious though...what is Clementine's little brother's real name? |

I know everyone wants to know Clementine's brother's real name. But I can't tell you what it is! I can see two possibilities when it might be said, though. One, if Broccoli got a hold of a peanut and ended up in the hospital, I think Clementine herself would say his real name, and then you guys would see it in a book. The other possibility would be in a movie or TV show. I've been to Hollywood several times to discuss the film rights for Clementine, and if a movie gets made (which I'm hoping wouldn't be for another 10 years or so) I think that would be a good place to have his name become public!

I'm definitely writing more books. The fourth Clementine will be out this summer, and I'm all done writing the fifth one too. (That will take about another year to illustrate and publish.) There will be at least 7 Clementine books, and maybe more. I've got a new one coming in about a year and a half for kids in 5th and 6th grade too, called Summer of the Gypsy Moths. Lots more books are coming, I promise!

I think your English is wonderful! The fourth Clementine book (called "Clementine, Friend of the Week" is being released this summer. I'm not sure how long it will be before it's translated and available in Spain, but I hope it's muy pronto!

Hello! Tommorow is "Dress as your favorite book charachter" and I knew for sure that I would dress as my favorite book character, Clementine. My mom is at work but, when she gets home I am going to ask her to curl my hair tight to my head (I don't have naturally curly hair like Clementine has). Thank You!
