I just finished Friend of the Week and I wonder when your next book is coming out. I hope it is soon because I love reading Clementine books. I saw the picture of two kittens in the back of Clementine Friend of the Week book. It was right next to the first chapter of your next book. Does Clementine get another cat in the next book?

The next book should be out in May, I think! That's all up to the publishers - I've had it written for months.

I visit LOTS of schools every year to speak to kids about writing, reading, and my books. I love visiting schools. I have been writing since I was a kid, but I only started writing professionally 15 or so years ago! |

The fifth book will be called CLEMENTINE AND THE FAMILY MEETING and, actually, I'm all done writing it! Now it's up to the illustrator and the publishers to get the book out. That whole process takes a while, so I don't think it will be out until next summer. It's going to be about some big changes Clementine learns about during a family meeting... I hope you like it! |

And ask your teachers to go online and submit a request to have me come to your school! I love school visits, but it's something that teachers have to set up with me in advance. |
