We love reading your books! They are very funny. We especially like the parts where Clementine calls her brother vegetable names :) We also liked when she "helped" Margaret with her hair.... We'd like to know what her brother's name is. We can't find it in the book. Thank you-- can't wait read the next book! |

Hey, Sara!! First, I think that it's awesome that we have the exact same first name!!! Second, I am forever indebted to you for writing the Clementine books! I am 12 now, and I started reading them at age 7,when I read the first 3. A couple of days ago I found a fourth Clementine book at Barnes and Noble!!!! I had no idea that there was one, so without hesitating, I bought it!! I breezed through it, and I loved it!! Even considering how old I am, I still laughed out loud! Thanks again for writing my favorite books, and I'm looking forward to reading book 5!! Keep 'em coming! =D |

Dear Sara,
I love your book Clementine SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
much!!! I loved Clementine because she is FUNNY, she is CREATIVE and I used to use the hose to get rid of the pigeons on my back porch. Please try to answer my question, did you really want to be the RED SOX shortstop? Because I want to be the YANKEE'S shortstop!!!!!!! I was also the tallest kid in my grade until third grade. I also like books and art. I hope you make more and more Clementine books and I can't wait for the next one.
Sincerely,
Viveca |

I just recently discovered Clementine and started reading it to my daughter, who just turned 5. She just started kindergarten and they recommended that we branch out from picture books and start reading our kids chapter books. I originally tried two other books with no luck. While they are good books, they just did not hold my daughter's interest and she couldn't sit still or pay attention while I was reading. We found a keeper in Clementine though. For the first time the other night she actually requested that I read a chapter of Clementine instead of another, much dreaded, princess book. Amazingly, she sits still to listen when I read Clementine and giggles just about nonstop. I can already tell that we're going to have to get the rest of the books in this series. Thank you for creating such an endearing character in Clementine! |

My kids (ages 6 and 8) and I have just finished reading the 4th (and sadly last, so far) Clementine book. We love these books so much! My son has high functioning autism and I think he especially can relate to the troubles of being misunderstood but having his heart in the right place. I recommend these books constantly to my parent friends. |

Sara's Comments I am so pleased to hear that these stories are helpful and enjoyed by BOTH your kids. Thank you for your post! Another book is about to arrive in bookstores - Clementine and the Family Meeting is arriving in September! |

I discovered Clementine because my 1-year-old pulled it off in the library the shelf from his stroller. I would have shoved it back in but I recognized Marla Frazee's work on the cover and took a closer look. I think they are the funniest thing I have read in a long time. I laugh out loud reading them to my kids. Partly because Clementine reminds me of my own kids and because her thoughts seem to be a lot like my own. Hmmmm. Thank you for creating such a delightful work! |

Sara, I got a lot out of your talk at the "Body Electric" Summer Institute at Simmons, and thought you might be interested in the blog post I wrote about it: http://walktheridgepole.blogspot.com/2011/08/body-wiggly-or-why-clementine-matters.html.
