Hi Sara, I am 23 years old. I took a children's literature class during my bachelor's degree and we read Clementine. Since then I have continued to collect the books and they never fail to thrill me. You capture childhood in the most incredible ways; having two much younger brothers, I'm able to say that from recent experience. Clementine may be my all-time favourite character. I laugh almost the whole way through the books, although I admit I sometimes get a little teary at the end. Thanks so much for sharing Clementine's world with us. Please don't stop!!

Dear Sara, My sons and I have read each of your Clementine books and they always make us laugh. We just finished your newest, Clementine and the Family Meeting. We are hoping there will be another. Can you tell us if you have plans to write another and, if so, when it might be published? We look forward to your reply.
Karen
I thought of a few more things to write since my previous message. First, the fact that I am 24-years old and can thoroughly enjoy the books as well as be challenged by the questions raised and observations made by Clementine is an indication of your talent as a writer. Second, while reading the latest book, I noted that you have an understanding of how kids view the world and their experiences which I suggest many people lack; I have learned a lot from reading these stories. Children are treasures with innumerable blessings to offer and your work embodies this truth. Lastly, after writing my last post, in which I mentioned that I hope to find out Bean Sprout's true name, I visited other parts of the site and saw that you had answered the question, "What is his name?" or "Will you ever reveal his name?" Although my curiosity would certainly enjoy being satisfied, I appreciate your explanation for why the matter is in Clementine's hands.

hi sara, I am 8 yrs old and live in Ireland. I love your books. I love Clementine. She is v funny. She and I have lots in common. We're both 8, we're both in 3rd class, we both get into trouble a lot and under my bed is a bit of a black hole too!
Natasha
My eight year old loves clementine. I have always heard her speak about it but I never knew who or what is was. She has read all of the titles. But you what will make her really happy, is if clementine will give us a visit in Brooklyn or NYC. Ms. Pennypacker if you could do this am sure you will make my daughter the happiest little girl on earth and others tooo. P.S Please continue to write more more more clementine stories.
Karen
I adore Clementine! She never fails to both make me laugh and inspire me. My mom and I have thoroughly enjoyed venturing back in time as we read the stories out loud to each other. I must add that I do hope to one day find out the name of her brother. Keep the books coming!

JUST HAD A CLEMENTINE. I WAS WONDERING WHY YOU NAMED THE CHARACTER CLEMENTINE? IS IT BECAUSE OF HER HAIR COLOR?
