Hi Sara, I finished your brilliant novel "My Enemy's Cradle" and absolutely adored it. I was wondering if you will be writing another adult book soon? (Crosses fingers). Also, would you be able to recommend other great WWII fiction - that has history, but some romance as well? I would love to know your favorites!
Thank you so much!! I share your book whenever possible!

Thank you so much for coming to Kirksville and helping to make the Children's Literature festival such a success! Your remarks at the banquet dinner were both powerful and heartfelt as you spoke about the role books play in the emotional and moral lives of children.
I know I speak for the committee and the many librarians, teachers, and children that attended your sessions and had books signed by you, that it was such a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for your graciousness! |

Hello. I am very curious to find out more about your Clementine series. My daughter is an early reader and her Kindergarten teacher is struggling to challenge her with chapter books that have age-appropriate content and grammar. I will be looking next to find samples of your text. If I can make it through a chapter without having to explain words like 'hidded' or 'runned' then this mommy will be SOLD! Many thanks and Congratulations on what is clearly a well-loved body of work |

Dear Ms. Sara Pennypacker :)
Lots of books are interesting. They open reader’s mind and make us learn something new. And in your book, "Clementine, Friend of the Week" filled with surprises. Although your book is one out of millions, it’s not just a little story to me. I enjoyed getting to know Clementine and how creative and thoughtful she is. "Clementine, Friend of the Week" helped me learned good lessons. Thank you for writing this book and I'll remember your excellent book.
Sincerely,
Ruolin Chen |

Marion's Pie Shop, Waquassett Inn, and now, Sara Pennypacker. All the things we love about Chatham! Keep writing, and we'll continue reading. You had us at "Hello." Actually, it was "The earth spins at a thousand miles an hour." from two sisters in VT! |

Hi Mrs. Pennypacker,
We are from Sandwich,Massachusetts :-) It is super fun that you are from Cape Cod too. We really like the imagination you put into your character, Stuart. We like knowing what Stuart can "see" as he imagines!!!
We all enjoyed the illustrations. We like how silly the books are, for example, Stuart standing in his underwear!!You are really good at writing books. Write more Stuart books pleaseeeeee!!! Sincerely, Third Graders at Forestdale School. |

Dear Ms. Pennypacker, I am such a fan of your Clementine:)! I first started reading your books to my children six years ago:), my children and I would laugh and cry while reading your beautiful stories. My children all have names that begin with the letter C, and when we learned we were going to have a new little girl, I knew she had to be Clementine:) Our Clementine just celebrated her fourth birthday:) I recommend your books very often. Whenever people ask about our Clementine's name, I always tell them about the cute character we all fell in love with:) Thank you for sharing your beautiful stories with us. I look forward to reading many more Clementine adventures:) Sincerely Christina |
