I just read the first chapter of Pax and was so moved. Two of our dogs died this year and I could barely get past the words 'his boy', without breaking down, but I'm glad I kept going. And I have a confession- when I really get vested in a character I need to know what happens to them so I read the last part of the book ( I know, it's terrible, but I do it and for me it doesn't take away from the enjoyment of the story) I quickly connected with both Pax and Peter and needed to know what happens- it's a compliment to your incredible writing. Anyway, I'm going to finish the story . . . properly from start to end. |

Dear Sara,
My dad reads Clementine to me every night. I have all seven books.
It's not that I'm tired of reading the same books over and over, but it's that I'm really excited for an an eight book.
So, would you PLEASE write another Clementine book?
I will read the new Waylon book while I'm waiting.
And even if it takes a year I will wait.
