Dear Ms. Pennypacker, We have read the book, Pax and we really enjoyed it, we gave it so many stars we can't count that high. We would enjoy a sequel to Pax. Please can you make Pax a movie? We think the movie should be called Pax and Peter and the sequel could be called Peter. We wonder how the explosions could be handled in the movie. We wonder if you could make a movie with a real fox or if it would have to be clamation. Thank you for your time to read our comment. Sincerely, Awesome 5th grade readers.
Sara's Comments Pax is becoming a movie! Please stay tuned!!!

Dear Sara, I am in 4th and 5th grade class we finished reading the book Pax. I think I am more like Vola because when I get mad I make stuff to cool me down.In the beginning I was surprised when Peter and his dad let Pax go.Then later in the book I found out Peter did not want to let Pax go. In my opinion you are the best author I have heard of.I hope you will have a 2nd Pax.Thanks for the book Pax!

Dear Sara , Thank you for sharing the book Pax with me and my class. One thing that I liked about the book is that you were very descriptive. For example, I liked the way you described Vola as a grenade because she was so volatile.

Dear Sara, My name is Lila. I Love your books so much I have almost read all of them. I love how your books really paint a picture in your mind. For example, I could really imagine Vola sticking the knife into her wooden leg. I wish at the end of the book Peter met up with Vola again, but I still love the book. Fondly, Lila

Dear Sara I am very interested in the style of writing that you had when you wrote Pax. I think the book has great detail and elaborations that make everything seem possible. My favorite character is Bristle because she has a lot in common with me.For example, she has had her share of sadness and so have I. I also like her because she isn't girly. The examples above show why I like the book Pax.

Sara, I just wanted to share with you that I loved your book Pax. It made me laugh, it made me cry; but most of all it made me realize how strong the bond between humans and animals can become. Thank you for the story.

Dear Sara, I have been reading your book Pax as a global read aloud. One thing that I thought was really good that you did was that when we stopped at the end of the chapter you always left us hanging then we had to wait for 1 chapter to find out what happened. Like when Peter thought the marrinets where heads!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another thing I liked was that you discribed how Peter and Pax where feeling a lot. Like when you said that Peter knew where he left Pax because he knew where he was because he had a enmotion and you told us that enotion. Dear, Abigail

Dear Sara, I was wondering why did you not say why Vola went to war. Another thing is that your book Pax really inspired me to never give up even though I really wanted to I did not just like Peter never gave up Peter kept going and going until he found Pax.

Dear Sara, I enjoyed reading Pax because I could connect with the characters. One character I connected with was Peter because my cat ran away and I wanted to find it like Peter wanted to find Pax. As my teacher read the book I could really imagine and see when the buck exploded and the dad kicked the boot. Thanks, Streeter
