The book Clementine was really interesting. Clementine is a character that keeps her heads in the clouds, is always weird and gets herself in trouble. Does your lastname Pennypacker mean you pack a lot of pennies? I would love to read your book Pax. I read a lot of good things about it. I would like to read it as soon as possible. I've hear you've written a lot of more interesting books I will read sometime soon. Good luck on writing more books!

I really enjoyed your book Clementine. Clementine was goofy and never pays attention. I'm really excited to read the book Pax and the books about Waylon. I hope to read the Pax and Waylon books soon. Keep on writing these awesome books!

Dear Sara Pennypacker, You should make a book about the adventures of Clementine and Stuart because it would be funny, mysterious, and fun for kids. Thank you, Hamid

Never mind 8 year old readers. I am 80+, an American living in Taiwan, and I have a young Vietnamese caregiver, who speaks little English! But NOW, she speaks a lot better! Thanks to you. We're both in love with Clementine, Margaret and Brocolli! And the illustrations are a super help. Than you both!

Hi Ms. Pennypacker! Iam agoth grader and I have read so many of your books, all the Clementine books, Flat Stanley and more. I'm very excited that we are about to start Pax as a book & author study (we homeschool). Thank you for the amazing gift you have given us in your stories.

Dear Ms. Pennypacker, Seven years ago, I first read the first Clementine book. My parents were in Hawaii and my grandparents were taking care of us. During school, my five year old sister cut her finger and the nurse called my grandparents for us to be picked up. Anyways, we were sitting in the emergency room and on the TV screen was a frightening TV show. The whole day sent my home crying and my Grandmother pulled the Clementine book out of her bag and she read it to me. Ever since, that book has been the book I read when I am scared or sad. Even when I am thirteen and have read long classics like Gone With the Wind and Watership Down, I always return to your books. That is a very special thing.
Sara's Comments This is so wonderful. I'm happy that Clementine has been such a comfort to you! Keep reading!

My class just finished Pax as part of the global read aloud. We ALL loved it! We were wondering if there was going to be a sequel? We would love to know what happened to Vola, Peter and his dad.

I just finished PAX. I absolutely loved it. it was assigned to my 10yr old /5th grade grandson. There are so many levels May I assume you made the location vague to make it universal?

Hi! I have a few ideas for the next book of PAX!I think Peter's dad and Vola should get married. And PAX should go look for Peter.Bye!
