Earlier this school year I read your novel Clementine within a small guided reading group. The students and I really enjoyed the book and all of the laughs Clementine provided. One of the students in my group recently moved to the United States from Iraq to join our classroom. This student gained so much growth with her reading, in large part to your book. As part of a project, my student chose to write the next chapter of the novel Clementine. She later was able to read this chapter aloud at a PTA meeting. All attendees were blown away by her quick growth and ability to write, following your guide set in Clementine. My student and I were hoping to share her chapter with you. Your stories are so beautiful to make me smile and hurting my heart sometimes it feels so real. I wish you wrote more Clementine stories. |

Hi! I LOVE your book Pax. Maybe you should do another book about an animal, kind of like Pax. What animal do you think it should be? Cats and dogs I think are written too much of. You should do an exotic animal, like a polar bear or a panda. By the way, I am doing a book report on Pax as well! I hope you get to read this, as I know you don't have much time with all these messages, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a book like Pax. It will be unforgettable. I know that.
