Dear Sara,
Our class was wondering about Clementine's brother's real name. We have heard him called many vegetable names, but we never heard his real name. Can you tell us?

Sara, Your Clementine books are the best! I am a homeschooling mother of many children, (8) and I love reading to my children. By the time you're on child #4, a lot of the really good books have been bought, read and shared with younger siblings. It's a challenge to find new, GOOD, children's literature! Your Clementine books fit the bill for child #4. I bought the first one in the series when she was about 12 years old. Imagine, I bought the last one when she was 17 and she still loved reading about Clementine! Not only that, there was an evening when I was sitting at the kitchen table with the (now adult) children of my family and my husband and another young adult's friend. The little kids were in bed and for fun, I started reading Clementine to these big people, ranging in age from about 25 (male), 27 (female) and 53, (my husband) Your Clementine had them ALL in stitches! I do also appreciate how you handle difficult circumstances in a way that is respectful to your young audience.
This is a long message but I couldn't resist when I discovered your website. Your Clementine books are excellent! |

I just finished reading your book Pax and I loved it so much. But I need to now the rest. What happened to Pax and Peter and Vola? Are you thinking about writing a new book about them? |

Hello Sara! We work in an ICT 3rd grade classroom in Commack, NY and we have a very special student named Dominic who is developing a love of reading through your Clementine series. He wrote a letter that we would love to share with you. Can you please send us your business address? Thanks in advance! :) |

Dear Sara Pennypacker,
In my reading room I am reading Clementine. We are trying to figure out what Clementine's little brother's name is. We really really want you to tell us when you make a new Clementine book, and tell us what his real name is.
Love, Dominic |

I read Pierre in Love to my 4-year old son yesterday. I can't tell you how moved I was by this book. While at work I reread it and still reverberated within me. I am a hopeless romantic, and a single Dad whom just came out of a relationship with a woman I met after my wife departed. Reading your book truly gave me hope and inspiration. Keep writing stories, you can't imagine how much of an impact they have on people. |

Hello Sarah, We met first at SCBWI in LA 3 years ago and I became a huge fan. Then I saw you again at SCBWI in NY and told you a little about the chapter book I was writing and you told me to talk to you when I was finished. Well after 2 years and 4 versions I finally feel proud of my work. I don't know if you want to see it. I just wanted to thank you. You have been a tremendous inspiration and a voice on my shoulder when I wasn't doing my best. |
