I just wanted to let you know I just finished reading Pax, and I thought it was brilliant! Although I am fifty, I still think it is brilliant! I couldn't stop reading it. Wonderful story and I enjoy it as much as reading Harry Potter. Thank you so much and I hope you continue writing. |

Mrs. Davidson's 3rd Grade Book Club |
Dear Ms. Pennypacker.
Hello, from Cashmere, Washington! We are a third grade reading club that just finished reading Pax. Our group gave Pax 4 1/2 stars out of 5. Our group thought the story was beautifully written but we struggled with the ending. It would have made us so happy if Peter would have taken ALL the foxes home. The way the characters changed in the book was great. Also, we are hoping that you make another Pax book about the foxes, Vola and Peter.
Thank you! |

Dear Ms. Pennypacker,
Pax was great, I always looked forward to reading it! The story was amazing. It was so adventurous. I've written a prediction on what happens next and a story inspired by Pax. I'd love it if you could write a part 2 of Pax. I rate Pax a 10 out of 10. I read Pax in English class and my favourite part was when Peter finds Pax. I don't really read that much. I think that in part 2, the young soldier should find Peter again and maybe Pax will find Peter again. Maybe Peter will live with Vola. I would love it if you made a part 2. Thank you for writing Pax, I loved it!
Sincerely,
Quin |

I loved Pax. I was quite stunned at the ending though. Could you create a sequel? If there is one what would happen to Pax? What would happen to Peter? Would his father survive the war? What happens to Vola? To Peter And Pax get reunited? Anyway, to many questions. I would also like to know if there is any talk about a movie. Me and my brothers all loved Pax, and would really love you to write another one. I would suggest this book to anyone. In fact for the list of good books at school I even put Pax up there. Anyway we loved your book and would like a sequel. |

Prince Edward Elementary 3rd/4th Grade Book C |
Dear Ms. Pennypacker, 3rd and 4th grade students are reading Pax as a book club from Prince Edward County Elementary School. We love your book! Pax shows a friendship between a boy and a fox. Friendships can be with anyone or anything. The book is sad and emotional, and we love Pax because he is sweet, kind, and loving!
We went onto your website. It's cool because of the drawings and it's realist looking. We'll keep looking at your website when you are free for a live chat. Could you make games available on your website about the books you have written? Are you writing a Pax 2? Sincerely, Andrew, Dominic, Kayley, Lukas, Sariyaa, Skylar, Tiffany, and Mrs. Stimpert |

Hi! I wanted to say how much I LOVED Pax. It is such a great book I love foxes so much now. Pax has been the best book I ever had read. I do have a question. I was wondering what happens to Pax? The end of the book just has Peter throwing the toy. And what happens to the runt? Is he ok? Such a great book. will there be a sequel? Love the book. -Teagan |
