Hi Sara, my name is Katie and I’m a bit older than your typical read I assume. I am in my 30s. I picked up PAX during a sale and I just want to say thank you. A year ago, my 12yr old cat died and her and I were bonded quite like Pax and Peter. needless to say, this book brought out emotions in me that I am so glad it did. And memories as well.so thank you. I honestly don’t have the words right now other than thank you. This story meant more than I can ever describe. |

Thank you for Here in the The Real World. It's so beautiful, I felt like crying. I wish I'd had it in 1957 when I was 11.
Thanks again,
Glory Fowler

Dear Sara Pennypacker, I would ask kindly of you to make a second Pax. I think it could be about Pax's life after the first book. I still have a few questions, but I will address those later. |

We also would like to know where you got your ideas for these stories? Were all the stories inspired by where you grew up (in Mass.)? Thanks! From your first grade friends. |

I am a 57 year old librarian in Atlanta and I just took PAX on my road trip. The reader did a great job and I loved the book. I will recommend it to young readers. Keep writing. |

Hi Sara
I have just finished reading Pax to my 8 year old son Jacob. I’ve also just finished wiping away the tears! Thank you so much for creating this amazing story, your writing was beautiful to read. We are fortunate enough to have a wonderful 9year old Bernese Mountain Dog in our lives. I felt deeply the same connections that Peter had for Pax which made reading Pax all the more significant. I look forward to now seeking out more of your work.
Best wishes from Christchurch, New Zealand |
