Dear Sara, I love the Clementine books. I was wondering what Clementine's little brother's name was. I've read all the books and it doesn't say in any of them.
Sara's Comments Still a mystery to me, too!

Hi, I am Fiona and I am six and a half years old. I loved your Clementine series, it is very funny. I enjoyed listening to the audiobooks. My favorite thing about Clementine is that she is always calling her brother vegetable names. One of my favorite parts of the books is when her mother says, "First of all, your brother's name is not... Brocolli." I also like how Clementine does what she thinks is right even if grown-ups don't approve. I think Moisturizer is a beautiful name for a cat. I am planning to read the Waylon series soon. Thanks for writing the Clementine series! Bye for now.
Jane
Are there any other books that are related to Clementine besides Waylon? Thanks, Kayla

I’m a sixth grade literacy teacher who just finished reading Pax. Thank you for your research and your beautiful story. I normally recommend books to my students, but this time my students recommended Pax to me. They were right!! I’m curious about your acknowledgement to Chris Crutcher. Would you care to share the “story behind the story within the story” with me? If it’s one of his books, I’d love to read it. Again, thank you for writing great books! My students and I appreciate the work that you do!

Hi Sara, Me and my my mum have just finished reading your brilliant book Pax! We loved it so much and it was so different to normal books -in a good way- and it was so emotional and addictive. We just loved it! Do you think that you will ever write a follow-up to it? From your new fan Sam! Age 9

Sara, I cannot thank you enough for your Clementine books! My kids and I are on our 5th book and so enthralled and wanting it to never end. You’re incredible and I BEG you to write more of her! She’s such a special kid and just what little girls (and boys) need to read! She’s in all of us! You’re a gift and you’ve brought our family this gift for every bedtime. I literally bawled tonight when readying about Mr DaMatz choosing C to read her letter and her words she brought from her heart. I was so nervous before that. 🤣🙈 Thank you PLEASE! write more! I wish I could personally sign you a book deal ☺️😇 Thank you so much! Love, Martia 42, Vivian 10, & Fiona 5 (occasionally Brad too)

Hi Sara, I just finished Here in the Real World. I absolutely loved it. It would make a great read aloud for my fifth grade class. I was wondering, where did the nickname for the grandmother, Big Deal, come from?
